This policy explains how EziCleen Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 34 862 073 107), trading as EziCleen Group ("EziCleen", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use our websites, chat with our assistant Ben, request a quote, book a service or enquire about a licence. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and suburb or postcode.
- Job details: the service you need, property type, measurements, photos you send us, preferred dates and times, and notes about access.
- Licence enquiry details: the territory and income stream you're interested in, your background, preferred start date and any questions you ask.
- Chat messages: what you type to Ben, our website assistant.
- Website usage information: pages viewed, buttons used and device or browser information, collected through cookies and similar tools only if you accept them.
- Billing details: invoices and payment records for work carried out. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we don't store full card numbers.
You don't have to give us your personal information, but if you don't, we may not be able to quote, book or contact you.
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you through our website forms, chat, phone calls, emails, texts and in person. We may also receive it from people acting for you, such as a real estate agent or property manager arranging a clean, or from EziCleen licensees who refer work to us.
How we use it
- to prepare quotes and estimates, book and carry out services, and follow up afterwards
- to pass your enquiry to the EziCleen licensee who services your area
- to respond to licensing enquiries and send you information about becoming a licensee
- to send service reminders and marketing, which you can opt out of at any time
- to improve our websites, services and advertising
- to manage accounts, invoices and our legal obligations
Who we share it with
- EziCleen licensees. Licensees are independent businesses who deliver EziCleen services in their territory. We share your enquiry with the licensee who services your area so they can quote and do the work.
- Service providers who help us run the business, including our customer relationship, marketing and booking systems (such as HubSpot and GoHighLevel), accounting software (such as Xero), website hosting, email and SMS providers.
- Our AI assistant provider. Messages you send Ben are processed by an artificial intelligence service to generate replies.
- Advertising and analytics platforms (such as Meta, Google and LinkedIn), only through cookies and pixels you have accepted. See "Cookies and retargeting" below.
- Our professional advisers, insurers, and anyone we are required or authorised by law to share with.
We don't sell your personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers, including CRM, email, analytics, advertising and AI providers, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Our AI assistant, Ben
Ben answers general questions and can pass your details to us when you ask for a quote, a call back or the Licence Information Pack. Please don't share sensitive information, such as health or financial details, in the chat. Ben's answers are general information and aren't a binding quote or advice.
Cookies and retargeting
With your consent, our website uses cookies and tags from advertising and analytics platforms to understand how the site is used and to show you relevant EziCleen ads on other websites and apps ("retargeting"). These tags record actions such as viewing our licensing section, opening the chat, using the price estimator or sending an enquiry.
When you first visit, you can choose Accept or Decline. If you decline, these tags won't load. You can change your mind by clearing your browser's site data for our website, and you can manage ad preferences in your Meta, Google and LinkedIn account settings.
Marketing
We may send you emails or texts about our services or licensing opportunities. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can contact us to opt out.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and reputable, secure systems. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this website.
